Dr. Russ Lehrman the founder of Lehrman Biopharma, previously
worked as the Director of Formulation Development and Analytical
Chemistry at Elan and NeXstar, Inc., respectively He has also been a
scientific leader at the Upjohn Company and Nektar Therapeutics. Russ
earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison and a B.Sc. in Chemistry at McGill University,
Montreal, Quebec.
Russ enjoys applying his skills to solve formulation and analytical
issues that have impact on the drug development of macromolecules
and small molecules. At this time, Russ' primary clients are located in
California, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Kansas.
Russ has also served as an Expert Witness. In this role, he has written
Reports and Affidavits on behalf of three clients. He has also testified
at two depositions.
In most instances, Russ works as an individual consultant. As
appropriate, he recommends and works with other consultants who
have complementary skills. Collectively, these experts have worked
with Russ as a team in order to achieve client goals.
Russ enjoys teaching and is an Adjunct Associate Professor of
Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Kansas, School of
Pharmacy. He has also taught at the Department of Chemistry,
University of San Francisco and the Department of Pharmaceutical
Chemistry at UCSF.
